Aladdin

Disney’s Aladdin JR. is based on the 1992 Academy Award®-winning film and the 2014 hit Broadway show about the “diamond in the rough” street rat who learns that his true worth lies deep within.

This is a full--scale musical production. Actors will have full costumes, individual roles of varying sizes, along with singing and spoken lines

This show is open to students who are in fourth or fifth grade during the 2024-2025 school year.

Group auditions for this show will take place on January 7--9, from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. All students who audition will receive a part in the show.

Actors will be placed into one of two casts for this show. One cast will rehearse primarily on Mondays and Thursdays, the other will rehearse primarily on Tuesdays and Fridays. Rehearsals begin January 13 and go through mid--March.

Show dates are March 21, 22, 28, and 29 at 7 pm. Each cast will have 2 performances.

All rehearsals and performances will take place in the Multi--use Room at Walnut Acres Elementary School in Walnut Creek, California.
